"I'm not a boxer. I'm a mixed martial artist, and if he wants to fight, he can go into the UFC and work his way up like everybody else does. Nothing is given to you in this world. To me, it's like don't talk about it, go ahead and do it. That's all I have to say about that." - Cain Velasquez via ESPN
UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez responds to recent comments made by heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury.
Just days after Velasquez's dominant performance over former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos at UFC 155, Fury called the newly minted champion, referring to him as a midget that wouldn't last two rounds with him.
Velasquez is still resting from his five round battle against dos Santos, but it's believed that his next opponent will be the winner of Alistair Overeem vs. Antonio Silva at UFC 156.
